David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Freddie Mercury, Amy Winehouse, Beyonce - photographer Denis O'Regan has captured on camera some of the greatest music stars of our times.

During a career spanning 45 years, he has worked as an official photographer at festivals such as Glastonbury and Coachella, and toured with the likes of Duran Duran, Thin Lizzy and Pink Floyd, capturing candid fly-on-the-wall, behind-the-scenes shots as well as the glamour of rock and roll life on stage.

His picture archives of portraits and live shots provides a window into the history of modern music, documenting the emergence and growth of movements such as punk and new wave, new romantic, heavy metal and grunge.

Now, his collection is on display all under one roof for the first time, with the opening of the Denis O'Regan Gallery in west London.

I had a look at the link: Some great pictures.

Looking at that picture above I wonder how many of those will be published these days. Drinks, a girl dressed like that, I guess all that is not PC anymore. But it looks like they had fun. ????
