This question has probably been asked before so please take it easy on me. I've rented the same apartment for more than 10 years and sign a legally binding one year lease each year. I have always had a multiple entry visa when working and now as a retiree but spend easily 11 months out of the year here. So given the financial commitment to a legal residence address, easily vouched for by a major Thai hotel company that is my landlord, why must it be reported over and over again? And, knowing the answer already, I still have to ask: is there any way around it?

Aquire permanent residence or citizenship, both do not require 90 day reports. All temporary residents (Non-O, etc) must report if in the Kingdom 90 days or more continuously.

The is no way to get around doing 90 day reports of staying longer than 90 consecutive days in the country. It is required by section 37 of the immigration act.
