The university of Chiang mai does produce a special breed of lowland arabica coffee plants .

I know for sure ,since my neighbor bought thousands from them .

Now the poor guy died and I have no real way to contact the appropriate department to order more plants .I do have a number ,which appearently is -sometimes -staffed by some teenager who does not want to be disturbed and hangs up ,without being the least little bit helpful .

Does anyone have had any personal dealings with them or some new numbers to try to call .?

CM is the becoming coffee equivalent of Napa for wine.

Mae Rim area seems to have a new shop open every week.

If you cannot find that coffee you seek, maybe venture out and try some others many many great beans in CM.
