Went to immigration to get a one year extension and was told that a legalized translated copy of our marriage certificate was needed in addition to the Kor ror 22  that we already have? I thought the Kor ror 22 was enough that we got from the local amphur office? After running around back and forth to the amphur office and immigration we got a copy of the affidavit we got from the usa embassy from bangkok stating that we were married and it had a stamp from the Thai MFA but it was only a photo copy not original because the local amphur office kept the original to issue the Kor Ror 22 to us. The immigration office told us that they would try with what we gave them to get my one year extension?  I got a 60 day stamp in my passport that said it was under consideration and to report back in 60 days?

i currently have a one year multiple entry non o imm visa, If for some reason that my one year extension does not get approved will my one year multiple entry not be valid anymore? My first 90 days is up 3rd week of Sept but the Immigration gave me a 60 day stamp to come back and see if approved, Do I still have to leave before my first 90 days are up or wait until I go back for the 60 day approval process? Has anyone ever been denied a one year extension?

Immigration always ask for a copy of the marriage certificate too.

They must be confident in getting the certificate requirement waived if they've accepted the application and sent it to the division office for signing off. Pretty much anything can be waived IF the officer signing-off agrees.

The local Amphoe shouldn't be keeping the original certificate.

The should of accepted your original marriage certificate since it is in English.

The under consideration stamp allows you to stay until your extension application is approved. The report back date on the stamp does not end the the under consideration period.

Thank you so much just to follow up in the worst case situation if my application is not approved? Will my one year multiple entry visa still be valid since it doesn't expire until June 2020?

That is highly unlikely to happen. If there was a problem they would contact you to try and resolve it.
