INN published a good news story praising the honesty of Thais. 

 

Staff at a 7-Eleven store in Songkhla found 91,100 baht and gold jewelry left on a counter and took it to the police. 

 

They managed to trace the owner who was named as Wanna Aleh, 56, from Nakorn Sri Thammarat.

CCTV and her own recollections confirmed that she was the owner of the items that added up to more than 100,000 baht. 

 

Unusually the staff were not named and the reward money was not mentioned in the INN story though a picture appeared to show them receiving money in thanks.
