The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission and telecom operators AIS, True and Dtac have joined up to offer assistance to those affected by typhoon Hagibis, which is due to bring torrential rain and high winds to Japan this weekend.

Customers with roaming and who need emergency support can contact the Royal Thai embassy in Tokyo, the Thai consular call centre or the operators’ call centres free of charge around the clock. The free calls are available on AIS from now through October 15, and on True and Dtac through October 14.
