WaveHunter
I have a very valuable racing bicycle (180,000 baht) and want to insure it against theft. Can somebody recommend a good agent? I currently live in Pratumnak but am moving to Chiang Mai next month. I am here on a long-stay visa in case that matters. Also, I have some expensive (amateur) camera gear I should probably insure as well. I don't know much about insurance but think what I'm seeking is "household" type coverage so that anything I own of value (i.e.: laptop computer, desktop computer and monitor, cameras, bike, etc) is covered. topt
@WaveHunter just to add another reference my buildings and contents insurance is with Safety via AA Insure (brokers). They were owned by IAG (Australia) but I think they may have just been taken over by Tokio Marine or somebody of that ilk. Never had to claim so no idea how good they may be or not in the event of one.....
