Lime/frostwire And Tot Adsl...help!

Featured Replies

Does anyone know why Limewire/Frostwire absolutely crawls when connected here in Thailand? For example, I try to download a 5mb tune and it says it's downloading from 8 hosts, yet at only 1-2 KB/s max.

I'm using a Mac running OS 10.4.8, with a Speedtouch Modem/Router provided by TOT. The programs say it detects a firewall, but how do you get around that?

Are there any tips to speed this up? 2hrs+ for one tune is a bit ridiculous....but then again....T.I.T

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Sorry for the late reply, been out of town. But thanks for the help guys.

I looked at the port forwarding link, and it seems quite complicated for someone with my limited computer skills. I was wondering if the port forwarding and static IP address thing will affect other programs, such as Safari and normal, everyday browsing the internet, etc.?

Thanks again!!
