The irony is astounding. They're trying to nail Trump on corruption...

by using the most corrupt means possible. A dirty impeachment.

A secret hearing in the peoples' house, where the people have no idea what is being said and discussed.

It's good because it gives the Don even more ammo to press his case go presidential obstruction, resistance and

harassment. Luckily it's the people who get to be the judge.

Hiding behind the secrecy laws signed off by Boehner is no excuse. That stuff is for routine

hearings that might involve a military mission got wrong....not the most consequential

political process there is. Good luck to the shady Dems...they're obviously stung by

the fact that their boy Mueller came up empty handed....so now it's impeachment

by any means possible.

1. Mueller came up with at least 10 indictable charges waiting for Trump to leave office.

2. Those right now rotting in prison on convictions won by Mueller are not evidence of him coming up ‘empty handed’.

3. The Impeachment Investigations are about to be conducted in the full glare of public view, which will include release of testimony already received. You are not going to like that one bit.

4. There are as many Republicans as Democrats sitting on the committees conducting the various Impeachment Investigations. They seem not to want to leak anything.

5. The closed session Impeachment Investigations have thwarted attempts  to intimidate witnesses and have exposed liars to perjury charges of their own making.

I very much look forward to hearing your objections to the public hearings when they start, let alone the prosecutions.

I am glad the Republican's stormed the hearing room. It was entirely appropriate to add a touch of slap-stick comedy to this latest beyond farcical witch hunt. Good to see them giving Schiff's team the respect they deserve!

It was a childish stunt aimed at pleasing Trump and other such simple minded folk.

I see trump supporters really hate it when the law is followed. It confuses them.

1. Irrelevant conspiracy theories, has nothing to do with this unconstitutional lack of transparency dem push.

2.Process crimes

3.Bring it on ,it will expose both sides,it ain't gonna be pretty for the dems.

4.Leaking ,according to them, their not allowed to

5.By closing the hearing schiff has abused the democratic  process by not allowing the American people to sit in and watch the demeanor of the witnesses being questioned !

Bring on the formal impeachment.

1. Not unconstitutional

2. Yes, crimes exposed all linked to election and Team Trump

3. Patience, it will be 'brought on'

4. Leaking is of course not allowed. But surprisingly nothing much is being leaked.

5. No, no abuse at all.

How do you feel about the "Stormers" bringing unsecured telephones into a secure area thereby potentially exposing security measures to foreign governments? Would you call that a prudent move?

So having all the Republican members of three committees in the hearing is not enough for you and evidence that they're hiding something from the Republicans? Following the rules set by the House when under Republican majority control and which were followed exactly the same way during the Benghazi investigation is somehow wrong?

Apparently you also need to have the whole process explained to you in clear language. After watching the video please feel free to comment on it.

The Dem's are an absolute disgrace to America.  The Republicans will not stand for their abuse.  Shocking to see so many who claim to be patriotic Americans stand in support with Schiff, Pelosi, Nadler and the Dem's in an unconstitutional impeachment attempt.

Actually writing such a statement, for posterity, is revealing, and not in a good way.

Article 1, Section 2 of the United States Constitution:

.

.

.

The House of Representatives shall choose their Speaker and other Officers; and shall
have the sole Power of Impeachment.

So do let us know how it is "Unconstitutional"?

LOL  I can hardly wait for this one!

Rather than regurgitating an ignorant FoxNews talking point could you post a link to a ANY legal argument that says concludes the process is unconstitutional?... :coffee1:

But, but, but.... it doesn't require any thinking and of course only Fox has the real skinny.

Seems more like stating facts!

In the GOP world, facts are bait.  They know that if they even look at or take a nibble of that bait they end up being somebody's meal.  They only have an appetite for "alternative facts".

Facts are to Republicans same as Holy Water is to a vampire.  They are turned into a puff of smoke and a dusting of ash.

OK, so you believe a member of the swamp, a career politician and not the judicial expert of Fox News. Gotcha!

The investigation is shortly moving to open hearings.

So you believe that despite the exact same process being good enough for Nixon and Clinton , Trump should get preferential treatment , is it because he is a juvenile ?

The Washington Post is reporting the Congressional Committees are planning to move to open public hearings by mid-November.

The Republicans will of course object to that too.

Looks like the Republicans taking over the SCIF had an impact.

So Trump kicked a few butts and told his fellow Republicans to start fighting.  It worked.

My guess is this coup attempt by the Dems will be stopped by political means.  If not, there's always the military and police, both groups quite loyal to Trump.  Doubt if he'll have to use them, though.

Any particular reason why you are ignoring the FACT that the hearings are being conducted in precisely the same manner as the Nixon and Clinton cases ?

Daffy Duck would be bettet than trump. 12000 lies, bankruptcies, adulteries, payoffs, obstructing justice, unsecured phones and emails just to name a few, and yet trump supporters will say a dem is bad if he scratches his ass in public.

Good on the Republicans.  Just wait.  Rather than Trump going down it will be Schiff and Pelosi at a minimum who will take a fall.

What alternative universe do you live in?

I hear Durham's probe into FBI has now been extended into a criminal probe.

So sit tight for a while. Once all the indictments are in, it will likely prove that

Mueller carried out a fraudulently predicated investigation....which means invalid.
