I;m not sure how cops over here keep their patience. I was in Suttisan yesterday and watched a traffic cop trying to keep vehicles flowing in a soi. He was positioned at a tee intersection in the soi. I watched for a few minutes as he directed people in cars and bikes to stop while he let people turn in the tight sub soi. Idiots continued to push past the cop and block the intersection and stop all traffic.

I could never condone violence - especially from a cop but I don't think I would have been able to control myself if I was in the cop's position.

 

I'm not sure what happens to some people when they begin to control a motor vehicle. Common sense and courtesy just goes out the window.
