The head gives more detail but from what I see I would say a Wall's Bronzeback or Painted Bronzeback . Hope it is still alive rather than ' What was this snake before I cut it in half ? We had one a few years ago that had a sense of humour, its favourite trick was to drop out of the tree on top of you. The first couple of times we thought it just had a bad grip up there. In both photos, just below the blue strap hanging down, it looks like the lower jaw of the snake and that it's trying to swallow something. Did it have e.g. a lizard in its coils?
