The showrunner of the Disney+ High School Musical TV spin-off has confirmed an original cast member will return.

 

Speaking recently, the show's executive producer Tim Federle confirmed it would pay homage to its predecessor with "a cameo from an original cast member", although he wouldn't say "who or when".

 

Dang...

 

"I was always thinking about the original fans, whose childhood I promise I'm not trying to ruin," Federle told Entertainment Weekly.
