Electric stove ring - where in BKK?

Featured Replies

I need an electric stove ring, about 2kW, the exact size and format doesn't matter as it's actually for a dummy load.

Anywhere I BKK I can just go an buy one? I suspect Amorn would be the place, but I'm not into treking across BKK on the off chance.

Something like this:-

Knowing how hard it is to find spars of anything perhaps just buying a hot plate might be time/cost effective.  402 baht for below.

Oops - sorry did not read the 2kw first time - above only 500w.  ????

Maybe from an old rice cooker?

Dunno.  But would an oven element work the same?  Seems like that would be easier to find.  Maybe try giving a ring to warranty repair places if they have "junk" to get rid of?

Thanks guys, I thought as much. I can easily get a unit from AliExpress for $12 inc shipping, I'll probably just do that.
