Seems to me, that there are two main types of Farang, according to Thai Bar Ladies -

Stupid and Cheap.

If they can 'Con' you out of your hard earned cash, you are the former, and if they can't, you are the latter.....True?

Such descriptions are seldom conveyed to the Farang openly of course........

Must admit, I have been 'A Stupid Farang' in the past. But now I enjoy being an avid member of the Cheap variety!

What about you guys?

I have once been called a cheap charlie in 1994.

But not since then. I admit I heard the Thai variety a couple of times. Depending on my mood I consider that a compliment, or offensive. But it's really much better to consider it a compliment. :o
