There have been hundreds of reported incidents of antisemitism in the Labour party in the last 2 years. These have been widely reported in all areas of the press and admitted by the Labour party its self.

 

The Rothchilds Jew hate banker conspiracy myth has been around for hundreds of years. the idea that a sinister, evil, corrupt and secret family of Jews control the world. It doesn't get any more stupid and racist than this.

Jews face hatred from the left and the right. Possibly in the UK now the bigger problem is from the left. In the US the bigger problem now is from the right although there are some troubling signs of increase on the left. 

While it is true that criticism of Israel is not Jew hatred per se, there are many instances where Jew hatred bleeds into such criticism. It's easy to enough to tell the difference.

I have not heard of these 'hundreds of reported incidents'. I don't use the word anti-semitism myself. IMO, that is a nonsense, and the next thing you know someone will insist that being anti Israel is somehow racist.

The current Labour Party and its NEC are dominated by former Socialist Worker Party and Militant Tendency extremists re-branded as Momentum. They are very intolerant of any elements and individuals within the party who challenge Corbyn and his leadership team and policies. I would suggest many Jewish party members, MP's and prosepective candidates will have issues with some of Corbyn's policies given their more traditional socialist roots. As a collective, the issue then becomes magnified because of the very pro-Palestinian, Pro-Islam stance adopted by the Corbynistas.

Remainers thought that it was OK to call Leavers "racist". Now that Conservatives (mostly Leavers) are calling Labour (mostly Remainers) "racist/antisemitic", suddenly it is unfair to call people bigots without any justification.
