Sure they do. If you only cost the hospital 20k, and the remaining 180k is profit margin, they'll be happy with any new Thai law that results in their recouping the 20k cost. If the Thai press, whoever, screams that this farang has stiffed the hospital for 200k, well, the now famous term "fake news" comes into play. Just recover only the cost, somehow, from the indigent -- then run wild with your profit margins from medical tourists at Bumrungrad, etc.
