just had windows reloaded, i cant get any sound on the games my daughter plays on cebeebies etc. have got a real player and shockwave , any ideas would be most appreciated

I would first check with earphones if sound comes out of your computer (connector)

If it is your computer which does not make noise than check in the device manager if the driver for the sound are there.

Than let us know for the next steps

cheers h90 tried the ear phones no luck and i had already loaded the sound manager on i am getting sound on everything else, i also uninstalled and re installed the real player, but its still the same.

hmm sorry not much of an idea, I try to avoid the real player.

Might that be codec related, that a codec is missing? Or any chance that this works with a different player? (I don't know these games).
