PHUKET: Tourist Police will request US embassy officials’ assistance in serving an arrest warrant for an American man wanted for physical assault of his Thai partner, dislocating her jaw in a jealous rage on Friday night (Dec 6).

Council of State to be consulted on Ms. Pareena’s Sor Por Kor land case

The Royal Forest Department will seek advice from the Council of State on dealing with Palang Pracharat MP Pareena Kraikupt’s 109 hectares of Sor Por Kor land, because the department and the Agricultural Land Reform Office are unable to agree upon which of them should initiate legal action against the MP for alleged encroachment.

Rift in New Economics party as ex-leader Mingkwan reasserts his position

The rift within the opposition New Economics party re-emerged today when former leader and founder Mingkwan Saengsuwan complained bitterly that he had been that had been blindsided when four party members, including the party leader Manoon Siwapiromrat, voted in support of the Government on December 4th to kill a motion to have the Prime Minister’s pre-election orders, issued under Section 44 of the interim constitution, formally investigated.

PHUKET: Phuket Vice Governor Supoj Rotreuang Na Nongkhai today said officers must not lose hope in finding missing Polish tourist Mateusz Juszkiewicz, 26, and Thai national Werakan Sirirakon, 23, from Nakon Sawan, who were last seen kayaking with friends off Yanui Beach, off Phuket’s southwest coast, late Saturday afternoon (Dec 7).

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Justice Department's internal watchdog said it found numerous errors but no evidence of political bias by the FBI when it opened an investigation into contacts between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russia in 2016.
