TV stations join no single-use plastic bags campaign

BANGKOK(NNT) - The Department of Environmental Quality Promotion (DEQP) has signed an agreement with eight TV stations to discourage the availability of single-use plastic bags by censoring scenes showing the bags in programs, while major shops and stores will officially discontinue offering these bags from 1st January.

Partial solar eclipse visible on December 26th from 14 Thai provinces

A partial solar eclipse will be visible on December 26th from 14 provinces of Thailand, with the best views of the phenomenon will be from Betong district of the southern border province of Yala.

Rains bring heavy floods to southern provinces

BEIJING (Reuters) - China and the United States are in touch over the signing of their Phase 1 trade deal, China’s commerce ministry said, which will see lower U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods and higher Chinese purchases of U.S. farm, energy and manufactured goods.
