I am in my 2nd year in Thailand on a Non-Immig "O" visa and recently married a Thai citizen. I now wish to apply for a SuppThaiWife visa, but have been told I must wait until 1 month before my present 1 year visa expires! Is this correct? This will then exclude me from the 200,00 baht proof due to alter on July 9. What happens 1 month before the expiry date of my present visa? Do Immig issue me with a 1 month or 1 year extension as I've laso been told it can take up to 4 months to complete. I would also like the e-mail address of Head Office in Bangkok to hear it from them or some other reputable office (Phuket sounds like they know what's going on!).
