Taking a bullet through an airport is a crime in most countries. The only scam is that they allowed the guy to pay his way out.

Do you really reallly think they took 1 bullet through an airport?!  This is not a post to do the usual cheerleading BiB/immigration/customs of Thailand schtick. Its not just disgusting, its evil.

Reality check. In this day and age they made it through US scanners and X Ray on the way over .... and then never saw it in their luggage in Thailand?! ANd or somehow acquired 1 bullet over here and stashed it in luggage.  Sorry I just do not believe that, at all.

I do not usually write my congressman/senator or even POTUS, but I will make an exception on this one.

Its pretty common for Americans to have a single bullet in their luggage if they are shooters. I have been stopped by TSA myself with one in Alaska, so it was no big deal, but it would be somewhere else.

Logical. Considering that in 2019, the US had its worst year on record for mass shootings, finding bullets in just about anything coming from America is going to be more common.
