  • Are you seriously suggesting a psych exam for everyone getting/renewing their passport? You should be careful what you wish for.

  • Don't see the connection, the bullet in the bag thing was a possible scam, and a bad one at that as the whole issue is well covered on the Net. This is a guy with mental issues.

What's his TVF username?

Er, Huckleberry? Just a guess.

Can't believe all the negative replies about this Finn man. It's entirely possible he called them to tell them about security flaws and was misinterpreted and making them lose face for their own flaws. You all don't really know but blatantly attack this man. BTW, since when has the TF posters started to actually believe what is spit out by the (authorities) as truth?

why should Thai Police have to put up with imbeciles?

Enough  in the  force already?

I've got a friend who managed to hack into a specific govt. database sometime ago, revealing all foreigners personal information. Being an expert in IT-security, he would have loved to inform the authorities and help them fix the issue, but was too scared they'll just turn it against him.

With hacking chops like you describe, surely he'd have been able to make an anonymous (and untraceable) tipoff?

Easy.

If its derogatory to someone or something, particularly Thailand, its unquestionably the truth,

If its good news about something Thai, its inevitably wrong, and to be mocked and derided.

The rest falls somewhere in the middle.

Too funny ! oh the horror ...

a likely outcome of any Thai / Finn interaction....if in Helsinki, Finns could claim the thais were unhinged.

With regards to the bullet thing, there was a scam being run at the Manila Airport (NAIA) where it appeared that some of the security screeners were dropping bullets into passengers bags as they were examining them and then asking them to pay a "fine" before the traveler could check in for their flight. Philippine President Duterte has since ordered that any passengers "caught" with a bullet in their bags not be charged with a crime:

Last week they found a bullet inside a mans bags, and now this?

You mean the metal detectors work and they are capable of tracing phone-calls... Is that your point?, or were you alluding to something more nefarious in a ‘flat-earther-tin-foil-hat-they’re-all-after-us-conspiracist’ manner ?

Well, he has to be a little ‘out there’ to think he is doing a good thing by randomly calling up the airport and advising them of holes in their security...  I mean, you’d have to be a complete loon to expect any level of positive response from such action.

I think its fair enough that his mental heath is in question.

“We then waited for the suspect to arrive at a check-in counter at Suvarnabhumi and arrested him before he could depart for Finland.”

So our Finn nutcase decides to phone in a bomb warning to make sure that Airport Security is on full alert to ensure that he is able fly back home safely. Self deluded piece of sh*t. He should be fined the maximum and deported. If he is unable to pay the fine then the Finnish government should pick up the tab. The Finnish government should be held responsible for issuing this nutcase a passport.  This idea that mentally unfit people have the right to travel is BS.

Bullet? And that's threatening..., how? Some people for example wear them as jewelry in necklace...

Jewelry isn't life ordnance

I'm worried for him who will be given the job of checking his mental health?

My point is that they want to scam selective tourists and eventually force  them pay heavy fines.
