The point missing is, the exchange of money for sexual involvement is illegal.

All well for the police to say its damaging the reputation of Pattaya to see it posted on line.

But what about the illegal aspect of people openly whoring. ?

"about sex on the beach: Don't post footage - it's damaging to Pattaya's image..."

you have to understand them...

...it is quite logical this type of remarks... for such a cultural center high place where spiritual activities and classical music concerts attract intellectuals from all over the world ????

Dayum, he should see some of the stuff featuring Thai citizens that's posted on <insertpornsitename>.com

His teeth are gunna rattle if he reckons the vid of those 2 on the beach are gunna damage the joints (non existant) reputation.

Sir what's really damaging to Pattayas image is pictured in this report and not the tourists. Secondly you not need to worry about the computer crimes la la land law. Because once a legit election is held ln sure this law will severely downgraded old chap. Along with many other RTP rectifications.

They have spent years cultivating a wholesome, PG atmosphere in Pattaya. It would be such a shame to sully that now. Action on the beach? Such utter depravity.

Yes all the anti prostitute campaigns have been staggering

What happens when the administration does everything in its power to make sure the living wage stays at a level where a hard working Thai has to work 60 hours a week to earn $300 a month? Well, they will seek alternatives. Especially the younger and cuter ones. This is not about morality. The action in Pattaya is about survival for many. It is about the pursuit of a higher quality of life. Of course the Ivory tower guys do not get that. Their gilded lives are anything but a struggle.

The only thing damaging to Pattay's image about this video is there is a tourist having sex with another tourist, when the tourists are expected to have sex with the locals, for payment.  This takes zero baht tourism to a new low.  ????

In addition it would damage the image of Pattaya

While a stroll down "walking street" is viewed as what exactly.... everything you can imagine is on full display for all to see.... including the so called families!

It was a Russian couple on holiday. What makes you think money changed hands? Not everyone has to pay for sex.

Never been to Pattaya and have no desire to ever go there.

The Sex industry has NO bearing on that choice.

Reasons I gave no desire to ever go to Pattaya has to do with all the Reports of Crime, Gangs, Scams.  If the police were to clean those up,  then Pattaya might be considered a potential place to visit.

Yeah right.

The station is empty at nights.

How long to respond, by the time they arrive (hours later) these people are long gone.

I can't say the same about other criminal, unlawful or illegal activities but, when it comes to these kinds of 'activities', the whole contingent - not just the station personnel - will arrive at the scene - camera phones locked and cocked - BEFORE you even end the call.

Of course, it is all for administrators' private viewing, especially when there are no FB updates to check and the 'mia nois' are not responding to Line messages.

:giggle:

On the Pattaya police page they issued a three point notice.

1. If you see illegal activity like sex on the beach tell the police immediately while they are still there.

Bad for Pattayas image.... A bit late with that are we not?

I am calling 1178 right now to report all the hookers and ladyboys that infest the entire length of the beach.

Should I also report to police the fact that police receive brown envelopes from bars where illegal prostitution takes place?

As for the two on the beach.... The TAT should petition the hotel association to reduce rates so these two could afford a room.

when i lived in Phuket i did it 3-4 times a week on the beach. people just walk by and sit next to me to do the same..

Sometimes i see 5 or 6 people doing it around us, 5555.  Never have someone come to us to say, hey,, go to your room!!

So no big deal.
