Hi,

I quit my job recently, and not on a speaking terms with my employer/HR.

My question is. Can they cancel my VISA/WP (Extension based on Employment) without me accompanying them to the Immigration/Labor Office?

Thank you,
Kim

They could cancel the work permit if you have signed a power of attorney form.

You have to be present with your passport for them to cancel the extension of stay. If you are on a 90 day entry from non-b visa it would not be cancelled.

If it was an extension, you have 7 days to leave the country from the day you quit.

That went away years ago. He would have to apply for a extension, pay 1900 baht and be granted 7 days to leave the country.

The day you quit your job your extension ended as well, so technically you are on overstay now.

It could very well be that nobody will notice this, but you better leave the country as soon as possible.

What if I don't show up? I never signed anything for them too.

I left last week. and Planning to leave Thailand entirely on 15th of Feb, my visa extension is until September 2020.

Will there be any problem? Thanks for your answer.

How would the immig. officer know? I quit, but there is none in my passport that states that I'm not connected with my employer.
