Chinese tourists drawn to islands on Andaman Sea

Many tourists from China have travelled to the Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park in Krabi province for the beautiful scenery of the islands on the Andaman Sea during the high season.

Travellers from China have been subjected to screening for coronavirus infection at the ports of entry with most passing the test.

Thailand remains a top destination for travellers around the world. However, despite reassurance from the Thai government that it could control spread of the virus in the country, travellers remain skeptical amid constant postings on the issue in social media.

in 2018, 80,000 Americans died of the flu. No one knows this.

(note that people in the US cannot be forced to take the flu vaccine; also flu vaccine effectiveness for the 2018-2019 flu season was estimated to be 61% against all flu types in children aged between 6 months and 17 years, and 24% for all flu types in adult patients 50 years and older. https://www.pharmacytimes.com/publications/supplements/2019/july2019/influenza-vaccine-efficacy-through-the-years)

in 2018, 80,000 Americans died of the flu. No one knows this. the GOP covered it up because they know their health care for profit kills people. in any case, so far this is not a problem. even those who got it were treated and released. Americans had probably 200 die of the flu yesterday. (Note: 80,000/365 = 219). Where is the news about this? Bad health care in USA caused by the greedy GOP. Poor people have no money for care. That is a major crime against humanity.

Exactly imagine we had live feeds of all the flu deaths moment by moment blow by blow. My gut instinct is this is a really bad case of flu - some anecdotals have said about twice as bad and mortality rates will go from a norm of 1% to 2% affecting the usual high risk categories. Keep calm and strive on with diligence.

Regime wins a Darwin Award—for total ignorance of a dangerous situation.  While other nations have stopped flights from China—Thailand thinks they know better.

Would be nice to award the Darwin to the usurpers. Unfortunately they haven't croaked yet, it's a prerequisite.

Since the world’s medical community (the real one) doesn’t seem to fully understand the transmission process, full range of symptoms, and incubation period of this virus…how on earth can Thailand's so-called airport ‘screening process’ be reliable? This weak excuse for a government is playing with fire....as compulsive greed and excessive stupidity can be a very dangerous mix.

not much else available to any airports any country other than a thermal scanner

B...S...

The whole world worries, only Thailand ensures that it has everything under control ... stop it, nobody believes it anymore!
