To be more specific they are also banning anyone who was in China in the last 14 days including non-Chinese.

What until the world starts banning anyone who has been in Thailand in the last 14 days. We'll all be trapped. Forever.

I read on Reddit that Japan is next to ban anyone who was in China in the last 14 days. No English source yet.

Japan to ban foreigners who've been to China's Hubei in last 2 weeks -govt

TOKYO, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Foreigners who have been to China’s Hubei province in the last two weeks will be refused entry to Japan for the time being, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told a meeting of a governmental taskforce on the new coronavirus on Friday.

How would the Japanese Immigration or other authorities be able to know Hubei specific... other than being able to know the person had simply been in China because of passport stamps and air travel history?

as i will be much more worry to get pneumonia by influenza vs coronavirus infection .

Fortunately, the same kind of steps a person would take to minimize their chances of contracting pneumonia by influenza are pretty much the ones to take to minimize their chances of contracting the coronavirus... So you're covered either way if you act prudently...

Only difference might be, in the case of coronavirus, also not hanging out around Chinese tourists.

Depending on what kind of stamp you mean, it's either going to be where the visa was issued or the airport the person flew out of -- neither of which necessarily indicate where they've spent the past two weeks.

They might also simply ask.

"The Trump administration is issuing a mandatory quarantine for U.S. citizens who’ve visited Hubei province in the last 14 days and denying entry to foreign nationals who “pose a risk of transmitting” the virus in the U.S., administration officials said in declaring the coronavirus a public health emergency."
