Please Help! What Kind Of Internet Connection?

Featured Replies

I'm staying in an apartment with no internet connection due to the fact they are using the old tel. lines from TOT and they won't let me or anybody else apply for a new phone line.....TIT. By the way, the apartment tel. lines are 'programmed' to disconnect every 15 mins, I tried using a modem but the speed was ridiculous so to speak!

So, I'm connecting the internet to my PC via bluethooth from my cell, it's quite frustrating actually because the speed is only 115kbps! Well at least I don't get disconnected(my GPRS package with DTAC is 140Hrs for Bht399) while surfing or downloading.

Is there any other ways or options without being too expensive? I heard about the D-link which cost Bht10,000 & it's almost the same speed as Bluetooth. :o

Just wondering is there anyone with my same problems? Any relevant suggestions would be appreciated. :D

You're getting better speed than many on DSL do sometimes.

I'd move if it's really something that's important.

ha these nice analogue lines which disconnect after 15, 20 or 30 minutes, typical in some Bangkok apartments buildings. I guess moving is the only option. Incidentally 140 hours for 399 baht sounds like a great deal.
