Anyone ever had Botox whilst living in Thailand?

Featured Replies

The wrinkles on my forehead are getting bad. I was thinking of trying botox. How painful is it? Is there any chance that getting it done can lead to

Encephalitis (brain inflamation). One would presume getting it done in a private hospital would mean that risks are reduced?

If you've recently had it done please report back positive or negative feedback on effectiveness.

thanks

Pain = like little bee stings. If they apply numbing cream first you'll scarcely feel it, but most people don't bother as it means an extra hour there (have to wait for it to take effect).

It cannot cause encephalitis, don't know where you get that idea.  It can cause drooping of eyebrow or eyelid if done incorrectly (will wear off after a few months). And some peopme have allergic reaction.

Very worst case would be if accidentally injected  into a blood vessel but would take a majot nlunder by someone with no idea what they are doing.

No advantage to doing it at a hospital, just costs more.

What is important is the skill of the person doing it.

It works pretty well on forehead.lines except deep line right over the outer eyebrow, they can't get that without drooping the eyebrow. Filler there can help.

No and wouldn't use it, I just avoid the mirror, my wife still says I hansom. ????
