don't they have to go arrest an elderly lady with 1 day overstay ?

No they don't because the virus is doing a good job preventing any thoughts of overstay, quite the opposite I would think,as it seem it's preventing any thoughts of any sort of stay!

What about the families of the 1,693 people that have died on the roads in Thailand, their own people?Gotta keep the money happy!Just another gross expression of misplaced devotion to money.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those self fulfilling statements!Stay well!

I am wondering, where the heck will this infantile peice be shown?

Cannot be shown on aircrafts, as none flying into or out of China

Hotel internal televisons perhaps?

Shopping centre screens?

Needs some choreography

It's a lovely idea...but the presentation is a bit flat.

Maybe playing a few of the General's hit songs would help them mourn more expressively...

I didn't know what the cops were for in Thailand, apart from looking at their phone at the checkpoints, now I know. Thanks.

Please please come back with your money.  Spend Shop Drop its ok...

THere is absolutely no way that I'd click on that video!

It's one of those moments where you feel embarrassed for the silly buggers doing it.

Oh dear, who thought this was a good idea?

I'll hazard a guess...

an overly promoted son of a senior police official?

Had Bayern Munich’s number one fan sending his sympathies.

The trictator too, and I’m waiting for him to belt out a song about Thai/Sino brotherhood.

Old ladies and now cops waving Chinese flags .

So sad to see a whole nation grovel

Reminds me of an international School here in Thailand that I taught at fir years...the foreign teachers there at the morning student teachers greeting, came up with a song and slogan to reassure “everyone”....that all is well.

the name of the sing was “We are all in this together”, which they sang to all the parents and students as they walked out for the morning prayers.
how ironic it was and I asked why would you sing this?

NO one including the “big boss” at that school knew why. Ha!

Nice.  Now, back to work.  Since there are fewer tourists you can be deployed to direct traffic on the road construction on Beach Road and ticket and remove vehicles parked illegally.  Traffic is very congested at times because one lane marked no parking is blocked with illegally parked vehicles--so traffic has to merge to just one lane.  Of course, the police should be doing this anyway--virus or no virus--but, as always, nowhere in sight.

Reminds me when i went to mk restaurant and all the staff did a lttle dance bit awkward as we were the only ones in there.

Would have liked the police to have broke out into a rap or something up beat.

I thought it might have been a Jackie Chan movie.

But, good to see that all the money spent on learning basic Chinese when BJ was providing the laughs hasn't been wasted..

Maybe a similar short movie should be made using a thai police officer giving demonstrations of what not to do.

Spoken in Chinese.

Like having a dump in a taxi.

Or urination in public places.

Wearing a bike helmet.

(Strictly for the Chinese, Thais are exempt from this sort of thing, as we all see)

In the land of the blind ............

I was so taken back with this goodwill gesture

It brought a tear to my glass eye

Please Chinese tourists  keep coming to Thailand

are tourist numbers so low so they have really nothing better to do ?

No mate, that's Immigration, not Tourist. Different department.

That's Traffic, not Tourist. Different department squire.

If you went to the clap clinic and a podiatritian came to have a gander, you wouldn't be too chuffed.

Well, you would be if the nurse had told him you've got most of a foot.....

A remake of the Keystone Cops ???
I prefer the original movies from the early 1900's. Maybe the Chinese would do too?

On an up note, it's nice not to be almost pushed to the ground or into a shelf by Chinese tourists scrambling to get in front of you and queue jump at the 7-11s!!

Of course I think we all hope China recovers soon for all our sakes.
Many people from all over the world have sent donation and aid.

Oh there's plenty of flights in and out of China/Thailand. However short haul don't normally have in seat entertainment, and China is short haul. Probably on National TV. That's where all the International messages of support are being shown. There's quite a lot as it happens.

No surprise. A Thais does everything for money. They would also have sung naked if the boss had ordered them to do so.????
