Whats the difference between Homo neanderthalensis and Homo sapiens sapiens

Just thinking about the conflicts going on in this world since 100's of years until now, for no apparent reason, between humans... Could it be something set deep in our DNA? The  Homo neanderthalensis seems to have arrived first and then came the Homo sapiens sapiens. Seems there was a short time where both existed together and then the former became extinct. Was the latter arrival responsible for the extinction of the former? From where did the Homo sapiens come from? Is there a 'proven' relationship between the two?

If we could find these answers, I guess we can find the reason for at least one recurring, painful subject here-in at TVF - The inbuilt hate for the Thai people and anything Thai.

I don't think all the Neanderthals died out, still a few about,

easy to recognize them.

'proven' relationship between the two?, they are from the same family

just a different branch, that evolved in different ways.

"There’s also another mystery to solve: Neanderthals went extinct about 40,000 years ago, while Homo sapiens did not. Why? There are a lot of theories, including that alliances between modern humans and dogs helped humans hunt food better, essentially starving Neanderthals out of Europe. Or, humans might have reproduced faster than Neanderthals, multiplying and edging them out. “It’s still one of those unsolved and really interesting questions,” says Martin Sikora, a geneticist at the University of Copenhagen. “Were we more successful because we had better technology, or was it just a consequence of pure numbers?”

I think the end of the Ice age, helped wipe them out,as they were more suited

to deal with it,plus the Homo sapiens may have brought diseases with them,

Google latest discoveries/theories about Neanderthals.

Keyword "Gibraltar" as thought to be their last stronghold and has produced valuable evidence.

Interbred with Sapiens so many of us carry Neanderthal genes.

Recent discoveries apparently indicate a few Neanderthal were still in existence even later than 40,000 years ago. Nor were they as "stupid" as generally perceived because of suggestive evidence of ritual burials and art. DNA comparisons pretty much confirm Homo Sapiens and Neanderthal co existed at some point in time and interbred which because there were few of them might mean they were bred into extinction by the more advanced Homo Sapiens !

They may have been bred out to the extent of ceasing to exist as a separate race.  I think their genes carry on amongst us, particularly in rugby league.
