Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang paid a visit to a Metropolitan Administration vocational training school on Friday (February 7) to watch protective facemasks being made and alcohol-based hand sanitising gel being properly used.

 

 

The free demonstrations for the public were staged at eight vocational schools managed by the city, including those in Din Daeng, Bang Rak, Khlong Toei and Nong Chok.

Those might work if you are the carrier and coughing, to protect others. The other way around .. not so much. Hand gel will work but you need to use it every time after touching any railing, door knob, etc. The best available option is to barricade home for the duration.

Just remember to scrub at least 2 mins. There are two ways to get rid of virus, mechanically by scrubbing with soap or nuking it with alcohol. Alcohol gels are more portable and can be used on the go.
