non-re mention on arrival stamp

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Can anyone confirm to me that a passport stamped with an arrival stamp on which the handwritten mention “non-re” was added does not need proof of health insurance when applying for renewal of retirement visa?

Thank you.

Non-RE means you used a R-Entry permit when when you entered the country for a entry from a non immigrant visa or the extension of  it.

Not related to needing insurance or not in any way.

You would only need insurance if you have been extending a entry from a Non-OA visa.
