I'd love to try one.  And an air-cooled, 500cc speedway bike that has 75 HP and weighs 187 lb wet.  Of course a speedway bike only has about a 1 mile range.  After that, you have to change underwear and refuel.

While the wave of the future - they still have a ways to go.

The range of 62 miles - 100 km - I would hazard is on a flat straight hiway.

What range will you get powering up hills and thru mud ?

Agree. Myself, I can't wait to ride a street bike so powered (too F old to go bouncing around in the dirt like in my younger days)

Really had my eyes open when one such bike came in first at Pikes Peak

I think 45 minutes of scrambling could be quite enjoyable, Maybe they could make a version with swappable batteries so you can get two runs in.

True. As always will have to wait to hear some real world test reports and ride reviews from owners in the field.

I just love the idea of max TQ right off "idle"

Hard on rear tires I'll bet. My YZ490 just ate them - like less than 5000 km and many times 2000 km. But I rode it like I stole it !
