Visa package mailed back (Help translating)

Hi,

 

My wife and I sent a tourist visa package after an invitation from a family friend to participate briefly on a training, and then tourist around Thailand.

 

We received back the applications with the following post it (attached), can anyone help translating?

 

We applied via mail to the NYC Consulate.

I have not had it translated yet but the one part in english makes me think they are saying you should be applying for a non-ed visas to attend a school. See: https://www.thaicgny.com/ภาษาอ-งกฤษ-english-version/visa-service/doc-non-im-ed/

I assume you mentioned you were going to be attending training on the application form after ticking other for purpose of visit.

Point 1 Must apply in person.

Point 2 Should apply for non-ed.
