Crash in front of Carrefour

A car attempted to enter Soi Yume by speeding out of Carrefour Shopping Center but miscalculated and hit a passing motorbike leaving the bike passenger seriously injured.

On 4th April the Pattaya police were informed of an accident between a car and a motorbike in front of Carrefour Shopping Center.

At the scene the police found a damaged Nissan car together with a Honda Wave crashed on the road. The victim, Mrs. Chom, aged 31, who was the passenger on the motorbike, had a serious leg wound so the Sawang Rescuers quickly took her to the hospital.

Mr. Suriya, aged 38, the driver of the motorbike told the police that the injured person is his wife.

Mr. Suriya stated that he and his wife were driving to Central Pattaya Road when suddenly this car speeded out of Carrefour Shopping Centre and hit them.

The police took the car driver to the police station to wait for the injured to come out to give her statement and then will let both parties negotiate about the expenses.
