webfact
Thailand carnage: Much respected rescue worker killed at scene of "jellyfish" accident on Hua Hin bypass Picture: Talk News Online A much respected rescue foundation worker has been killed in a multiple series of collisions on the Hua Hin bypass yesterday. Tributes have poured in for popular Sawang Phaephaisan Thammasathan Pranburi rescue worker Attawut "Ton" Noobankoh who was 41. Initially there were no injuries. A Vigo pick-up being driven towards Bangkok by Wirachon veered off the road and overturned after hitting a tree. The driver was uninjured and Attawut and a colleague - on hearing the smash - were soon on the scene on a Honda Wave to render assistance. There were jellyfish all over the place as Wirachon was carrying that cargo towards Samut Sakhon. Then another Vigo driven by Supharik lost control on the rain affected road surface. It span round and the back collided with the motorcycle and slammed into Attawut who was standing by the first overturned vehicle. He was killed instantly. Facebook posts from colleagues and a well known personality paid tribute to the selfless dedication and many years of service that Attawut had given the rescue foundation. Popular Post richard_smith237
The total and utter <deleted>wittery is endless..... So many needless deaths.... the innocent so often the victims of someone else’s complete, total and utter disregard for anything or anyone else combined with a degree of stupidity we in the west find difficult to comprehend. RIP rescue worker. Thailand <deleted>, the road deaths issue far more serious than nCoV-19, do something about it!!!
Popular Post Lungstib
For 40 years you let everyone who applies have a driving license, the roads fill up and suddenly you have busy highways with the same skills as they had when they 'borrowed' their parents m'bike at 12 years old. Of course there's carnage.

To give this post some positiveness i think the roads in Thailand are very safe....all drivers have a great knowledge of the traffic laws and their vehicles...the police does an excellent job, drivers are not selfish at all...it's all perfect and i really can't understand why so people die on the roads here.

gimo
It's not just the driving , it's also a complete unawareness of danger . People on the side of the road loading trucks , changing tyres , having a leak etc , and standing around broken down vehicles .
Nakmuay887
Sad to see that everytime there is a situation in this country Thailand loses supposed qualified people at the site of whatever is happening. Korat shooter, how many trained cops and swat died? The cave rescue ended up killing two of the divers involved.
bluebluewater
I just paid for the temple cremation services for a 4 year old child who died in a motorcycle accident. I'm so tired of people dying like this.
tomazbodner
What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams comes to mind. Let him rest in peace, and the <insert swear word in here> who should never have been allowed behind wheels to rot in a very hot place.
