Hell still be returned for a second term in November no matter what they throw at him ????

Maybe so, though given his track record prior to becoming president that is now being manifested nearly every day by him really doesn't look good for future US  - you really wish for a megalomaniac with strong authoritarian tendencies to be President - God help the USA, 'cause trump won't.

Easy to miss it, but the Russia collusion hoax collapsed last year, just before the Ukraine hoax kicked off. Seeing as he is still the President, it is up to Trump what he does with Assange, but this

Straight from the people's socialist playbook! Only in socialist people's republics the witnesses get eliminated before they can speak out.

I know you’ve got a thing about broadcasting your lack of understanding regarding socialism but please do at least try to keep your anti socialism rants to threads where they might at least have a tiny iota of relevance.

Yep - same as Teflon Don, but we know what eventually happened to him.

So you're saying that the Senate refusal to hear witnesses in the Trump impeachment trial is straight out of the people's socialist playbook?

and another potential quid pro quo for Trump, he really acts as he doesn't give a rats axx about the law

Being given immunity if you co operate with the investigation is within the law .

it was proven Russia interfered with the election and was behind the email publication, he's asking the guy to lie and that's not co operation with any investigation

spend some time researching the internet and you will find plenty of supporting evidence but you can start with the Muller report as the first step, good luck then.... decide to help you a bit

The guy's simply desperate and willing to do everything and anything to persuade the world and the U.S. that Russia didn't help win him the presidential election...

Because it's been clearly documented that Russia TRIED to accomplish that end, and if their efforts made a difference which they probably did, that would mean that Trump didn't win on his own, and his HUGELY inflated ego could never accept that.

Intriguing that JA’s lawyer brought this pardon up as the 18 charges by US DOJ were about him leaking classified military information and nothing on the email leak. Either Trump’s team has overreacted or JA has something damaging to Trump and hedging a quid pro quo. His extradition date will be known very soon.

The pardon would come on the condition that Assange complied with the United States by saying that the Russians were not involved in the email leak that damaged Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign in 2016, Rohrabacher's statement said.

A White House spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, denied the assertion.

That is quite important .

The Whitehouse denies this story and says this story isnt true

I will choose the above as the main reason.... but wouldn't roll out a conspiracy theory of BJ trying to make a deal with JA to avoid extradition and get dirt on Trump

It is if it’s within a recorded plea bargain negotiated with prosecutors under the DoJ  and/or State Prosecutors.

It is not within the law to offer a Pardon for corrupt purposes and Pardons are not part of the plea bargain process.

Apropo to this post, Trump just announced Ambassador Grunell as the new National Security Advisor. This is part of what makes Trump such a danger to the nation. He deliberately chose personal loyalty over competence and experience. Even Republicans are saying this job is way over his head. Another example of the bottom of the barrel selections of this incompetent President.

Let's go Little Mike. You really need to beat and humiliate this guy. I suggest better debate prep!

In this story, what brings you to the belief  that Assange is telling the truth and the Whitehouse isnt ?

What evidence made you decide ?

Let’s see if they’ll permit witnesses to take the stand under oath and open evidence files to scrutiny.

He wasnt asked to cooperate. He was asked to say something specific, whether true.or not.

Like ukraine. Doesnt need to be an investigation, just say that there is one.

What on earth would make you think the wh would tell the truth.

How would a press secretary know what was said.

Why is it important.

The man seemingly knows so little and so few people, it's hard to conceive how he ever got elected president!  :cheesy:

That is what Assange claims

According to other news sources it never happened. Just another lawyer lying to help his client.

Well, there's evidence of past performance. We know Trump lies all the time. Just recently he admitted sending Giuliani to the Ukraine after denying it during the impeachment hearings and Senate trial. Whatever one may think of Assange, he has a far better track record when it comes to telling the truth.

Oddly, you don’t name the ‘news source’.

POTUS doing his ‘barely know him’ lies again. Dana Rohrabacher was hired by Trump together with Micheal Flynn to be his foreign policy advisers in 2017.

Thats not as logical way to come to a conclusion .

Like. if Assange said the World was flat and Trump said that it was round , Assange would be telling the truth and the World is flat ?
