RAJAVITHI HOSPITAL Bangkok Risk assessment form before hospital visit for CORONA VIRUS

To me, that's a poor and out-of-date assessment...

If someone doesn't meet any of those initial 3 criteria -- travel from CV areas, interaction with CV impacted area people, or contact with a confirmed CV case -- the assessment declares you DO NOT have risk of CV even if you have declared ALL of the characteristic physical symptoms.

That's simply not the medical reality anymore, as community (person to person) transmission is occurring with CV even in cases where none of those three initial criteria are present.

But if that's representative of the stance being taken by the Thai medical community at large, it's certainly a wonderful way of avoid diagnosing CV cases and having to report them to the world!

Joking aside, I have yet to attend a hospital or clinic here that has posed any questions about my previous medical history.

actually when the Big Dude squeezed my coronary, the nurses at Samitivej Thonburi did a pretty thorough assessment.

Then again, its all about ones status...of course they would ask ME, *wink* and not you. No offense...:P

Come to Cambbodia, they probably dont even ask your name.
