3NUMBAS
07.00 update: World Health Organisation warns dirty bank notes could spread coronavirus People have been urged to wash their hands after they have used bank notes. The World Health Organisation (WHO) suggested people should use contactless payment instead. It warned the infectious Covid-19 may cling to the surface of bank notes for a number of days. A spokesperson said people should use contactless technology where possible to prevent the spread of the disease. The Bank of England acknowledged last night that bank notes "can carry bacteria or viruses”. It urged people to regularly wash their hands to help prevent germs spreading. Sonhia
How about:- getting Thai to clean their homes, work places, strees etc? Wear foot wear. Infections can also spread by unprotected feet too! Dispose of litter in bins. Clean filthy public toilets at petrol stations and at those crappy, horrible, filthy bars etc... Just take a look at sois in and around Jomtien and Pattaya plus all other sois in Thailand and witness the filth, dirt and litter! And they claim Thailand Paradise!! Joke... Keep dogs on a rope, out doors. Get rid of street dogs. Chickens kept in secure areas plus cattle etc... Eat off a table, not floor.. Much much more can be done to improve peoples life's. Clean coins!! 555 Not rocket science. Or maybe it is?

connda
Obviously these Einsteins haven't given this process of money contamination much thought. Ok. Wash the coins at the mint. Are you going to hire "coin scrubbers" to follow the money around and disinfect it as it passes from hand to hand? Truly a feel-good moment and photo-op for the Treasury Department, but little else. Sorta like recommending people use less joss-sticks in order to solve the PM 2.5 problem. It doesn't address the root causes.

They covered that also but you deliberately chose to ignore it and, instead, label him as "couldn't be more stupid"? How does that work?... “However, for coins that have been in circulation for some time and have not yet returned to us, they still carry the risk of spreading the virus,” said Yutthana. “People therefore need to take care by washing their hands regularly or using a hand sanitiser.” Edited March 10, 2020 by Just Weird
