The Cabinet is being asked today (March 3) to approve a budget of Bt225 million for face masks amid the Covid-19 situation, Interior Minister General Anupong Paochinda said.

The Interior Ministry has applied guidelines from the Health Ministry to inform people about how to keep from contracting the coronavirus and what those at risk should do.

Anupong also said political rallies were acceptable if they did not violate the law, so the government would not monitor such activities.

He added that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has not informed him yet of any Cabinet reshuffle, but he was confident he would retain his post.

Looking at the OP photograph, I would hazard a guess that they are gazing in awe at the shiny new stainless steel trough which has just been delivered...

With every problem there comes an opportunity and all that...

Face Masks Why?????? we have been informed that we do not need them.

Right even US Gov says not effective  to prevent infection----but somehow they want them for health workers to prevent thier infection. Well what is it? If the masks protect them but somehow we are too stupid to learn how to wear the mask to protect us?   Guess what show me a vid on how to wear the mask properly, I'll replay it a few times till I get it.
