Must Read Songkran in Pattaya CANCELLED - only religious activities permitted

If anything this will improve tourism and spending.  Everyone I know who lives in Pattaya leaves during Songkran.  Anyone I know who visits regularly avoids that time. 

 

It's a dumb holiday and is especially dumb in Pattaya where it goes on longer than anywhere else and where Farangs in particular are targeted.

They have cancelled every official event,like for example The Musical Festival, they haven't cancelled Songkran, It's an official holiday = Thai new year.
