Termination of Employee under probation

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys! Been researching online with no firm answer. We are planning to terminate a staff under probation with immediate effect, is there any legal problem we will face with that? I've saw article that we can terminate immediately without any form of compensation ( 30 days etc ) and some article mentioning the need to pay until the next salary date.

Can someone advise on this please? I like to assume if i was to terminate the employee(under probation) immediately, i will only need to pay him the salary amount of X day after the company salary calendar date.

Thanks in advance!
