BANGKOK (Reuters) - The number of tourist arrivals in Thailand fell 44.3% in February from a year earlier due to the coronavirus epidemic, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) said on Monday.

Bt10,000 reward for arrest of illegal labourers who don’t undergo self-quarantine

Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob today (March 9) announced that a reward of Bt10,000 would be given for the arrest of each illegal Thai worker returning from South Korea who "escapes" airport disease checkpoints or does not undergo 14 days of self-quarantine.

A majority (53.3%) of chief executive officers were not confident of the government's handling of the Covid-19 outbreak, according to a CEO Survey by Krungthep Thurakit newspaper on their business strategies in response to the epidemic.

BEIJING (Reuters) - A Chinese company says it has developed the country’s first facial recognition technology that can identify people when they are wearing a mask, as most are these days because of the coronavirus, and help in the fight against the disease.

Russian man in Phuket did not die from COVID-19, report officials
