Looked to a non-American outsider ignoramus like me that none of the prospective candidates looked a decent competitor for Trump, I'm sorry to say.

The disintegration into aberated responses to Trump and The Republican Party by the Dem's is as crazy and just as bassist as support for someone like D Trump.
To me as an outsider I have sadly lost a huge amount of respect for America, its people, and for that which the nation is touted as standing for.

I aint' no Yank but to constantly call your prospective opponents "crazy Bernie", "quid-pro-quo Joe", and lots of other degrading mocking remarks I've heard Trump deliver consistently over the last few years is disgraceful behaviour for a sitting President.

Has anyone noticed how Trump manages to make remarks, around whatever the topic being discussed is, which are always self-focussed e.g. Coronavirus general discussion with Press and he said "I haven't touched my face for week/weeks" (intended joke?) ... the response from those present seemed awkward, uncomfortable to me.

Him embracing the flag and saying "I love you baby, I really love you baby" over and over again. Does this seem odd to anyone and really disrespectful to the flag and who/what it represents?

I'll go out on a limb here and say that Trump only loves himself, oh ... and those useful to him at the time.

So true .

Sanders is the complete opposite of Trump ... but too old ... if he could be 20yrs younger ...

I like him , but I doubt his ideas will get him the POTUS job , americans are not so fond of socialism ,,, but the times are changing and everything would be better than another 4 yrs for the " chosen one " ...

Bernie is actually losing badly. A poll today shows Biden ahead of him nationally by 20 percent. Unless Bernie can pull a Biden South Carolina in Michigan it's almost over. I think there is a lack of appreciation that Biden's dramatic turnaround on super Tuesday was one of the most dramatic political turnaround surges n American history.

45 has certainly taken notice.

Just listen to a Dem Congress woman on CNN and she make a notable comment regarding poll in previous Michigan 2015 primary. Hillary was polled by a massive 21.4 points over Bernie. Bernie won subsequently. Will see Tuesday.

Biden is not HRC. Biden will win in Michigan. Sorry but it's in the best interest of the country for democrats to consolidate now behind their nominee and focus on the necessary prize. Biden. To evict 45.

I know this will rub some people the wrong way but I think Biden should make health care access for all the top issue now.

For various reasons.

It's the right and civilized thing to do.

The majority of Americans want it in theory. The problem is the details.

The virus. The current system exposes how many Americans still do not have access to health care and or cant even afford co-pays even if insured. So poorer people and average workers that can't afford to stay home even if sick are going to die at higher rates than they had to and also endanger the health of the better covered.

Focusing on this issue can help with unity with the Bernie people.

No it doesn't need to be branded Medicare for all. In my view that branding was a mistake because older people feel they have earned that benefit and some resent the idea of it being granted to all. Selfish yes but older people vote a lot more than younger people.

I think any current Biden health care agenda isn't defined well enough yet. I hope he works with fellow democrats that have wonky policy ideas particularly Warren to develop a fully baked appealing and realistic coherent health care for all agenda.

none of the losers endorsing Biden have commented on his policies...because he has none.

There only compelling reason is "restoring dignity to the office"

Hahahaha...Trump has restred dignity to the working  families bank accounts.

And these guys are talking about some weird ethereal nonsense that no

one relates to.

I always laugh at leftish comments on this forum.

Laughing is good.

I do not consider opposing 45 to be about left or right in the conventional sense.

American politics in the context of such an abnormal cult of personality authoritarian president is not strictly defined that way anymore.

That's all good and great until you realize in horror that Trump still wins the EC vote. You can stack the liberals in California to the moon and that doesn't matter.

Even trump supporters see how trump bungled the response to the covid 19 virus I suspect a few even realize he used up the economic tools to prop up his stock bubble I know he will kick and scream blame everybody else and dodge responsibility but I suspect a few are thinking naaa he a conn imp trumps done

Anything that Sleepy Joe will put forward will be both "wonky" and half-baked....

Five to ten million votes would prevent that hugely tragic outcome. That is what we are hoping for.
