Does infant have to be present with parent at immigration as prefer to avoid if possible.

The babies persense when the application is done should not be required.

Thanks for response.  Does anyone know which forms and documents are required to do this?

Also a confirmation from any recent case that presence is not required would be helpful in order to make advance planning.

Cheers.

A TM7 extension application form with a 4 X 6 photo attached. Immigration may have some other forms they want completed that you can complete while waiting.

Copies of your passport photo page visa, entry stamp, extension stamp and TM6 departure card. Copies of their passport photo page visa, entry stamp and TM6 departure card. Their  legalized birth certificate (unless born here) and a copy of it.

If working for a company they may also want some supporting documents from them and a copy of the company registration. What is needed can vary from one immigration office to another.

Sorry, two final questions,  can visa be extended starting from 30 days before expiry?  Will they extend it for full 12 months, or would it only be extended to end of parent existing extension which is 7 months out?

Thank you.

A visa is not extended. The extension can be applied for during the last 30 days of the 90 entry from the non-o visa that will be extended.

They will only do the extension to the date the parents extension ends since that is what it is based upon.

Hello, is there some link or website to reference regarding presence of infant.  Agent says is required, but prefer to avoid under current circumstances.

There is no firm rule about it. It can depend upon the office you have to go to.

Perhaps have the child and mother wait somewhere near the office and then have them come to the office if needed. No need for the child to be there any longer than needed.

I've done 3 extensions for my kid as my dependent (I'm on a Work extension) and each time the child had to come to Chaengwattana, and was photographed.  It would be good to think that this can be relaxed in the current situation and maybe other offices don't require it.
