Aggie Joke

Featured Replies

In Texas, graduates of Texas A & M University are better known as Aggies, and are considered to be somewhat lacking when it comes to intellectual prowess.

A recent Aggie graduate had jost gotten his first job in Manhattan. Never having been outside Texas, he realized that he needed a couple of suits to wear to his new office. So he went to the local men's shop to buy some new clothes. The kind lady helping him started some small chit chat. Upon learning that he was moving to Manhattan, the sales lady became quite excited. "My son lives in Manhattan", she said. "I am quite woried because he hasn't contacted me in almost two months. That is quite unusual for him, and I am quite worried". Will you do me a favor"?, she asked. The Aggie replied that he would be only too happy to help a fellow Texan. "His name is John Dunne", the lady informed him. He lives in Manhattan. If you should meet him, please ask him to call his Mother". The Aggie quickly agreed and set off to NYC.

On his first day at his new job, the Aggie wis getting out of a taxi in Manhattan. He happened to see a building across the street with the name "Dunne & Bradstret on the door. He thought to himself that must be the office of the son of the kind sales lady back in Texas. Having a few minutes to spare he hurried across the street and entered the building. A receptionist asked him, May I help you"? "Yes", the Aggie answered. Do you have a John here? The receptionist nodded, pointed down the hall and said, "the third door on the right".

The Aggie hurried down the hall and entered the third door on the right. At that moment, a man was coming out of a stall. "Excuse me", Said the Aggie, Are you Dunne"? Yes I am said the man. "Call your Mother", siad the Aggie.
