Bluetooth disappeared - Need Help

Featured Replies

You have still not answered the basic question at the start which a forum member asked as to which bluetooth/wifi device do you have installed in your pc (name, manufacturer, model number, bluetooth version etc.....)

What version of windows 10 are you on.

In the past I also had problems with earlier versions on windows 10 and the disappearing BT icon and device manager driver but that was subsequently resolved by using a later version of a bluetooth dongle V3+EDR and greater. Later updates of windows 10 have improved the bluetooth connections for Intel, Qualcomm and Realtek bluetooth devices.

BT devices version 2 still gives a lot of trouble to get and stay connected.

How old are the drivers from acer for you pc? as there could be conflict sometimes with other drivers and it may be worth removing those other drivers completely from your PC.

Looking forward to receiving another caustic reply.

Kind regards

Strange you do not read the thread. OP reported problem magically fixed yesterday by the Night Fairy.

Yes I read that. So the drivers reconnected and the BT device will work until the next time it does not but all the functions listed in that trouble shooting reference are available in windows 10.
