Why do some people still believe in god? It makes no sense.

Featured Replies

Looking at the current situation with lots of people dying, and probably soon many more dying, I find it amazing that some people still believe in something called god.

Why do they do that?

If there would be a god he is the one who invented that virus and he is responsible for all the dead. Is that the kind of god you want to worship?

Now lots of people from lots of religions don't come together anymore. Why? Are you scarred that your god can't protect you? And if your god decides it's time for you to die then it's his will. Embrace his will and you will see your creator. Be happy!

It doesn't make any sense to still believe in those fairytales. Be realistic. There is no god.

Don't pray, lean and understand. Why is that so difficult for those believers?

Peoples faith is a diety is far more complex than the simplistic attack on religion you just set forth. But hey, the question has been long considered. Read Pope Benedict, you amy see that the issue is more complex than your atheistic screed
