    Wonder if that will be major roads only ?? Do they have enough resources to monitor all roads across borders, 24/7 ??? Just where we live, there are 5 or 6 small road options within a 30km distan

I doubt the screening will be anything other than a bit of play acting. However, if you are checked, just go along with it. The question is, what happens if their 'equipment' indicates you have a high temperature ? What are they going to do with you ? Clearly don't travel at all unless totally, absolutely unavoidable.
