Wow, my jaw was literally on the floor when I read this. What kind of colossal numbnuts - not to mention a complete and total a-hole - do you have to be to do something as selfish and irresponsible like this in a time like this? Hope they get the book thrown at them and then deported.

Can't help but wonder, though, how many of these "gatherings" there still are that go unnoticed? It just boggles the mind how stupid and selfish people can be, even in times like these.

There you go genius, you answered your own query.

How does having a group of people that have self quarantined for more than 14 days and staying 10 metres apart entail being "bloody stupid and selfish"?

If you really cannot see it you clearly have a big problem.

Not the sharpest tools in the shed for making a lot of noise and having prohibited substances.

What I would like to know is where can someone find the "Emergency Degree regulations" and what constitutes breaking these regulations?

Are you not allowed to have friends over now?

You may need to check with your local authorities on what the actual hours are where you are but pretty much every province has initiated some form of what can only be described as a curfew. All shops and restaurants have to be closed between those hours and you are supposed to be at home. That's your home and not someone else's home.

The local police here in Udon raided a late night party at a private house in the suburbs. Twelve locals were arrested and each fined 40,000 baht for ignoring the current 10 PM to 5 PM lock down hours. They also will be banged up for 20 days.

So yes, having 'friends over' is proscribed. Apart from that, it's socially irresponsible in these times. It's NOT just the flu and it only kills old people.

Some people will never learn . Time to send them to institutionalize quarantine and then ban them for violating laws of the land . Drugs and party at this time ? Go back to UK and party hard . See how lockdown looks like

Even by blurring their faces....just a one second-look and I know what type of Brits they are. Having studied in the UK it`s quite easy. Good look to them...the blacklisting will be their smallest problem:)

If everything around you is absolutely quiet because of the actual pandemic, you must be really an i**** to consume alcohol AND drugs, while listening loud music.

Two hours earlier, Dazzer makes a phone call:

"Alright bro, party's on at my gaff! We got booze, we got blow, we got tunes, we got hookers. You tell Bazzer, Woozer and Sergey, I'll tell Rufus..."

nothing about being the most stupid people in the world?

If stupid were a crime, I don't think they could build enough jail in Thailand or anywhere else in the world.

Headline, jumble that it is, seems to indicate only busted ones were foreigners"Busted in Phuket: Foreigners, including Brits..."

I assume Thai "working girls"... were they not busted, did they not partake of drugs, etc. ? Dear webfact: how about more facts or something close to accuracy. Already more than enough xenophobia to go around

That's you being sensible unlike you can see from the photo pictures of those at the party. Only needs one of them to infect the others to spike an outbreak, and as for possession and imbibing the drugs, that's a fast track to at least a long-term jail sentence. Why? Because in Thailand it's illegal. Good riddance.

you have been asked not to.

The ban on such events has been very clear.

My bet is that these are the folks who will proudly smugly say 'but nobody personally told me' and expect that others will think they are smart.

Three Ukrainian women were included among the foreigners. Along with the Thai girls, they were no doubt all recently left unemployed.
